About the COMPETITION
Desafiando el Riesgo is a case competition by the Organization of Latino Actuaries (OLA)! High school students in the U.S. with an interest in STEM are invited to get a deeper look at risk management, hone their problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, and get connected to OLA’s career development resources and network.
During the four-week virtual competition, you will investigate a real-world scenario and formulate your own data-driven solutions to problems facing the Latino community. You will then submit your case responses for a chance to win $3000 in scholarship awards and recognition!
